Hi everyone,

Here's some news about a special auction for 2 concert tickets. As you might know, Madina Lake and us are label mates at Roadrunner Records. On July 6th, Madina Lake bassist Matthew Leone came to the rescue of a woman being beaten by her husband on the streets of Chicago. He didn’t know them; he just encountered them as he walked down the street and couldn’t ignore it. Having rescued her, the husband turned on Matthew as he was calling 911 and left him unconscious on the street. The beating he received was so severe, he had emergency surgery to remove a third of his skull to relieve swelling on his brain and repair numerous facial fractures. Matthew is currently awaiting further surgeries. He is slowly recovering, but unfortunately does not have insurance to cover the substantial medical bills.

Sweet Relief Musicians Fund have partnered up with Through The Pain and Roadrunner Records to help raise funds for his yet untold medical, legal and rehabilitation costs. Sweet Relief, Through The Pain, and Roadrunner have been accepting generous donations from both inside and outside the music industry in aid of Matthew. 100% of proceeds raised will go towards Matthew’s medical costs.

Yesterday I performed at Ronald Kolk's fashionshow "Couture Boudoir Noir". I opened the show singing an older song, "See Who I Am". I wore one of his amazing outfits, all in all it was a great night! We'll be posting more pictures soon!

Paris venue change!D

Hi everyone,

Great news for all our French fans. As you might have noticed, the previously announced show at "Le Bataclan" on March 27 sold out in a heartbeat. We have therefore decided to move this show to the famous "Zenith", where we last played in October of 2007. Of course we are really excited to play this great venue again as we have great memories of the show we did there. Tickets are now back on sale, for those of you who already bought tickets for this show, those tickets will of course be valid at the Zenith.

As you might already know, our annual fanclub day will be on October 10, 2010. It will take place at the Waerdse Tempel in Heerhugowaard (NL), and tickets are on sale now! Great news!

After being on sale for only 2 weeks, the previously announced show at Shepherd's Bush Empire is completely sold out! We were very happy to hear this of course, but also feared that some fans might have been on holiday when we announced this tour. Luckily, we have been able to move this show from SBE to Brixton Academy. We can still remember our show in 2007 at Brixton Academy, it was one of our highlights of the "Heart Of Everything"-tour. We can't wait to see that venue and all our UK fans again! Tickets are back on sale, check out this link.

For all of you who already had tickets for our SBE show, of course they will be valid for the Brixton Academy show.

Tour 2011D

Dear Fans,

We are very excited to make this announcement. As you know, we have been very busy working on our new album in the past year. It isn’t finished yet, but we’re getting there! We currently have the album scheduled for the beginning of 2011 and of course we will be touring soon after the album release! We’re returning to the European stages in February and March for the first part of the tour and head straight into the festival season after that.

We will be sending special links out to our fan club members starting Wednesday July 28th, so they will be able to take part in an exclusive pre-sale for fan club members only. Check www.thesilentforce.com to see the details on Wednesday. General presale will start on Friday July 30th unless otherwise mentioned on our tour page. Check back for all the exact pre-sale links. There will be Twitter-tags for all the shows. If you mention them in your Twitter-messages, you will be able to see who else is going to the same show as you and communicate with them! Ronald Kolk designing WT's outfitsD

On September 6th, Sharon shall open the anniversary show of Dutch couturier Ronald Kolk in the grand ballroom of Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky in Amsterdam. At this occasion, both Dutch artists will announce a new collaboration.

Ronald Kolk is an internationally renowened fasion designer who has worked with stars such as Bette Midler, Tina Turner, Grace Jones and The Pointer Sisters. Kolk is famous for using the best, most valuable fabrics and assesoires available. Ronald Kolk shall design the new wardrobe for us which will be worn for the artwork photo shooting for our upcoming new album and for our world tour in 2011.

The collaboration starts with a spectacular opening of Ronald Kolk’s “Couture Boudoir Noir” anniversary show which will be held for 550 selected guest on September 6th in Amsterdam.

Since a while Ruud Jolie has been occupying himself with his soloproject called “For All We Know” for which the recordings are almost done. He got help among others from Léo Margarit (Pain of Salvation) on drums, Kristoffer Gildenlöw (Dial, ex-Pain of Salvation) on bass and the very diverse singer Wudstik. You'll also find some guests like the guitarists John Wesley (liveguitarist Porcupine Tree) and Richie Faulkner (Lauren Harris) and the singers Damian Wilson (Threshold), Daniel Gildenlöw (Pain of Salvation) and Sharon on the album.
